Overview
Mind & Do does not require an account. Your tasks, manual mood check-ins, and journal entries are stored on your device. You may separately choose to sync supported information through private iCloud storage. Task and mood sync is off by default, and journal sync is a separate opt-in.
Information you create
Depending on how you use the app, Mind & Do may store:
- tasks and related planning details;
- manual mood check-ins, including selected feelings, influences, and notes; and
- private journal entries.
This content is stored locally unless you enable the corresponding iCloud sync option. Apple Health readings are not included in Mind & Do’s iCloud sync.
Beta waitlist
If you join the beta list on this website, we collect the email address you provide and the time you consented. We use it only to send Mind & Do beta invitations and related testing updates. The waitlist is stored in a private database on Cloudflare infrastructure. We do not sell the list or use it for third-party advertising.
You can leave the waitlist or request deletion at any time by emailing support@nirvantric.com. We retain waitlist addresses until the beta program ends, you ask us to delete yours, or they are no longer needed for the stated purpose.
iCloud sync
When you enable sync, supported information is stored in private CloudKit storage associated with your Apple Account. Mind & Do uses CloudKit encrypted fields for synced content. Mind & Do does not operate a separate account system or store a separate copy of your synced content on its own servers.
Turning sync off stops further syncing but does not automatically delete information already stored in iCloud. You can manage cloud copies through Apple’s iCloud storage controls.
On-device AI
Mind & Do can use Apple’s Foundation Models on your device to consider supported task details and selected manual mood context, then help identify tasks that may fit your day. This AI processing happens on-device; supported personal content is not sent to an external AI service.
Journal text, mood notes, and Apple Health readings are excluded from AI processing.
Optional source lookups
If you request a source lookup for a passage or book, Mind & Do contacts external websites to retrieve that public material. Those websites receive the network request and may process technical information such as your IP address under their own privacy practices. Journal entries, mood notes, and Apple Health readings are not included in these lookup requests.
Diagnostics and analytics
Mind & Do contains no third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or custom crash-reporting SDK. Apple may collect and provide App Store or TestFlight crash and diagnostic information according to Apple’s services and the diagnostic-sharing choices on your device. Mind & Do uses this information only to diagnose problems and improve the app.
The Mind & Do website currently uses no analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts.
Face ID, Touch ID, and security
You can use Face ID or Touch ID to lock the app and/or journal. Authentication is handled by iOS; Mind & Do does not receive or store your face or fingerprint data. These locks control access on your device. They are not a separate app-managed encrypted vault.
Deleting and retaining information
You can delete individual tasks and journal entries in the app. When the relevant sync option is enabled, those deletions propagate through iCloud. Linked Apple Reminders remain separate and are managed through Apple’s Reminders service.
The current app does not provide a delete-all control, a general data export, or a control for deleting individual mood check-ins. Deleting the app removes its local data from the device, but it may not remove information already stored in iCloud. Cloud copies can be removed through Apple’s iCloud storage management.
Sharing and sale of information
Mind & Do does not sell personal information and does not use personal content for advertising or cross-app tracking. Information is disclosed only as described above: to Apple when you choose iCloud sync or use Apple-provided diagnostics, to Cloudflare to operate the beta waitlist, and to external websites when you deliberately request a source lookup.
Children
Mind & Do is not directed to children under 13. If you are under 13, do not use the app or join the beta waitlist.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when Mind & Do’s features or data practices change. The effective date at the top of this page will show when the policy was last revised.
